Week 33 Baby Bump Update

Here is the 33 week baby bump! Ry and I can't believe that the official due date is only 7 weeks away! We begin our Childhood Education classes in two weeks and we are hoping to learn a thing or two even though all our friends tell us that all goes out the window in the delivery room! That being said, I'm hoping it will help us to prepare mentally for the birth anyway.

School has officially started and I can definitely tell that the fatigue from the first trimester is back in the third! Although, I was excited to come home today and NOT have swollen ankles! Oh, it's the little things:) Overall, I'm not feeling too bad, but I can definitely feel the weight of the baby and although I think I can fit through tight spaces....I can't:( Ry having to help me put my strappy shoes on today was also a reality check! Thank goodness he's willing or it would be flip flops everyday!

We had an absolutely beautiful shower this past weekend thrown by my two sisters, Lindsay and Carly! I can't wait to get some pictures so that I can post to the blog! It was more than either of us could have asked for and we are so very grateful for all they did to make the day so special for both of us! Stay tuned for pictures....

Baby Shower # 2!!!

My sisters and mom threw baby shower number two! It was absolutely gorgeous! We couldn't have asked for anything more! The decor was impeccable, the location perfect, the food delicious, and of course, the company-only the best! I've never heard so many people tell me that they've never gone home with so many gifts from a shower! Yes, in my opinion, a bottle of wine is a perfect favor (especially when it is from "Olivero Vineyards")! I know I've said it before, but we are overwhelmed with the love that everyone has not only for our "little man", but also for us! We could not be more grateful for everyone who has helped us prepare for his arrival!

Below are some snippets from that special day! Enjoy the pictures and the poem that served to welcome everyone to the celebration! Simply put-it was perfect!

While we know the "little man" who is coming brought us together today,I doubt that it's everyone's name that each of us would be able to say.

So to make this just a little easier and familiar from the start

Here are the ties that bind each of us to his little heart!

What is a baby shower without some little game

So stand or give a wave when you hear your name.

I am Carly and this is my sister Lindsay and today we will be your hosts.

Kelly's our older sister of whom we are always most proud to boast!

We are so lucky to have here so many of our aunts from both far and near

Aunties Susie, Kim, Annie, Sandy, and Great Auntie Babe are those we hold dear.

Our family has been lucky to be filled with cousins multiplying since we were small,

Jamie, Valerie, Erin, Niccole, Amy, Kristin, Eileen and Sally just about names them all.

Long ago my mom taught and fell in love with a little boy named Rob Nicoletti

Who, believe it or not, grew up to be Carly's one and only steady.

Rob's mom, Diane, and his sister, Stephanie, are as close as family to all of the Zarrs

Just like our best neighbor, Chris-mom of our favorite twin superstars!

Kelly loved her time as a babysitter to now college-bound Steve and Nick,

And with their mom, Patty, she developed a friendship that through the years would stick.

Kelly was blessed to land her first teaching job in Rolling Meadows and Willow Bend

Where she met Erin, Liz and Joannie-each of whom would become a life-long friend.

Starting off as "special moms" of two of Kelly's students several years ago,

Elizabeth and Nadine soon became close friends that she is proud to know.

The Reading Room at Lake Louise is truly a special place to work and be,

For that's where Kelly met Colleen, Sue, Maryen, Francesca and Katie.

As a couple, having mutual friends is important to Ryan and Kelly.

They were lucky to have found them in Heidi Zaffke and Heather Caroselli.

Cheryl and Toni, our mom Mary's most fun partners in crime,

Have lived through many years of our family drama for many years in time.

We met mom's friends, Ellen and Pam, through her work at DOI

And now can't imagine how any of us would survive without them nearby.

We are thrilled to see Laura, one of Kelly's best friends who truly understands

Since she just had her own little bundle of joy named Ryan put into her hands!

The soon-to-be Grandmas, Debi and Mary, just couldn't miss

The chance to witness Kelly and Ryan's long-awaited baby bliss!

Last but not least, our new mom-to-be

Glowing and beautiful, my sister Kelly!
